Bachelor of Art and Social Sciences
Tổng quát về ngành
A research programme leads to a Masters or a Doctoral degree. It includes an element of coursework in the same or related fields to provide a graduate-level foundation and prepare the student for research. To cultivate a strong research culture among our graduate students, the required coursework includes a “graduate research seminar” module in which faculty members, graduate students and visitors present current research.
With the appropriate foundation, students proceed to do research, study and experimental work, which culminates in the submission of a thesis.
Most of our coursework programmes lead to the Masters degree. There is only one Graduate Diploma Programme. Coursework programmes are meant to provide further specialist education beyond the undergraduate level for professional development. Coursework students take modules which involve formal classes and seminars. Some coursework programmes require students to undertake a project or practicum.
