TRẢ LỜI CÁC CÂU HỎI QUA EMAIL TRƯỚC ĐÓ
1.
Nguyễn Thành Phương: I have just received an
email form Vietnamcentre point on the coming event of NUS admission. As I
have been interested in Singapore education for quite a long time, I
gratefully consider this a very great chance to pose my wonders and
questions as follow:
I have graduated
from Pham Ngoc Thanh University of medicine recently (2010) and currently
worked at Gia Dinh hospital.
I would like to ask whether there are any courses availaible at NUS that I
can apply to progress with my study, ie majors in medicine like surgery,
paediatrics, etc.
I also would like
to ask for another student case who has been studying in the UK for 2 years
in a Pharmacy course which lasts 4 years with the final achievement of Mas
ter of Pharmacy but wish to transfer to continue studying in Singapore,
which is the most suitable course which can be offered for her case?
I have searched the
information on the school website but I am still unclear what programs area
available and their requirements for entry for international students
(mentioned as 2 cases above) as well as the tuition fee. Hence, I would like
to grab this chance for a more reliable answer.
I am very thankful
for you to pass on my questions as I am very interested in pursuing an
international degree in my career.
If you wish to apply for the Masters degree programme related to Medicine, you can find the full list of majors offered by the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine at

2. I would like to
ask this question. It is written that this event is for those who graduated
from secondary school in Vietnam and for University students. I have just
finished my O level in Singapore and I am waiting for my result. Am i
qualified to join this event? (Dương Thanh Thảo, 18
tuổi, thanhthaod2008@...)
Yes, you may.
However, please note that you would need to have completed the high school
qualification or its equivalent (such as the Singapore Cambridge GCE A-Level
Examination, International Baccalaureate Diploma, diploma awarded by the 5
polytechnics in Singapore) to apply for admission to NUS.

Currently, we do
not have a system of direct credits transfer for university undergraduates.
Therefore, you will have to apply for admission and compete with all
applicants for a place in the course of your preference. If your application
is successful, you will be admitted to the first year of study. After
matriculation, you may submit your transcripts and supporting documents to
your Faculty/School to seek waiver or exemption of modules to accelerate
your studies. This is, however, subject to approval of your Faculty/School.
The full application details are provided in
http://www.nus.edu.sg/oam/apply/international/admissionreq/BYA-admissionreq.html
International

Competition for the
ASEAN Undergraduate Scholarship is extremely keen. Students must attain
excellent examination results and also have a good track record for
non-academic achievements such as community service, sports, fine arts, etc.
There is no minimum score requirement to be awarded scholarship.
