ĐỀ CƯƠNG - UEE SYLLABUS 

ENGLISH

The UEE English paper is set based on language proficiency equivalent to students who are taking the Singapore-Cambridge GCE 'A' Level English examination. Students are strongly advised to be familiar with the use of the academic conventions of in-text citations when writing the essay and to avoid plagiarism.

The English paper contains a short reading passage. Candidates will need to read the passage and respond to the essay prompt. They will be required to write an essay that expresses their opinion and will require them to use information from the passages to support their ideas and reasons. Candidates will need to bring ballpoint pens for the examination.

MATHEMATICS

The UEE Mathematics paper consists of two sections, Sections A and B.

Candidates taking Mathematics of 'AO' Level equivalent are required to answer all questions in Section A and no more than five questions in Section B.

Candidates taking the Mathematics of 'A' Level equivalent are required to answer all questions in Section A and no more than four questions in Section B. Please note that no more than three questions can be answered from any single option in Section B. There are 3 options available in Section B – Pure Mathematics, Particle Mechanics, and Probability and Statistics.

BIOLOGY

The UEE Biology paper consists of a total of 60 multiple-choice questions. Candidates are required to answer all questions.

CHEMISTRY

The UEE Chemistry paper has two sections. Candidates are required to answer all questions in Section A and any three questions in Section B.

HUMANITIES

The UEE Humanities paper comprises three sections. They are Economics, Geography and History. Candidates must answer a total of five questions from any of the three sections. Those intending to offer Economics or Computing must answer at least three questions from the Economics section.

PHYSICS

The UEE Physics paper has a total of 50 multiple-choice questions . Candidates are required to answer all questions.
